SiLib compound libraries
Making drugs is a difficult and costly business. While companies
are spending exorbitant amounts on clinical trials, they already
have spent significant time and money before to identify the best
drug candidates for their trials. With its compound libraries,
SiChem offers a possible shortcut for the early drug candidate
searching stage. SiLib makes it easier and faster for companies
and research labs to find suitable compounds for drug development.
Starting now, Sichem offers compound libraries in a highly modular
form, called SiLib. Each module consists of 30 compounds, grouped
by a variety of criteria. Each module is complementary to others.
Choose from
- common drugs
- heterocycles
- kinase inhibitors
- novel pharmacophors
and alike, or pick the full range library.
There is a high percentage of drug candidates available that
have never been tested in classical or HTS assays. Most drug candidate
modules are selected for membrane-permeability, stability in solution
and other important criteria.
SiChem's SiLib system is particularly aimed at smaller drug discovery
companies, assay developers, and testsites for novel screening
assays and equipment. SiLib provides high quality compound libraries
in an affordable format.
Right now the first 6 modules, "common drugs" and "mixed heterocycles"
à 30 compounds are available in your preferred format (96
well plates or other and vials).
SiChem will also provide medicinal chemistry expertise to develop
your hits and to produce your lead compounds from 10 mg up to
100 g.
